Showermate U2.6Bar universal twin pump operates under both negative and positive head conditions. It is designed for installation into both the hot and cold water supplies boosting both to an individual shower, bath/shower mixer, or tap.

Showermate Universal pumps remove the guess work from pump selection.
Being fully automatic, they will function in both positive and negative head conditions and are suitable for installation into an open vented hot and cold water system. Universal Showermate pumps do not require a gravity flow of water to start.

They can be used to:

Boost hot and cold water services to the kitchen, bathroom or cloakroom.
Pressurise the supply in applications such as loft conversions, where outlets are higher than the water source.
Pressurise the supply where it is uncertain whether a positive flow naturally exits.

Pumps are rated in 'bars' which is the measure of pressure - 1bar being equal to 10metres static head of water. The higher the bar rating the higher the performance.

The following may be used as a general guide only for applications:

1.0 bar pressure = Low boost
1.5 - 2.0 bar pressure = Medium boost
3.0 bar pressure+ = High boost.
